The Project Manager is responsible for large and complex project assignments and supports program manager and is responsible for full lifecycle of projects assigned. It is also expected that a successful project manager provides expert level planning, oversight, analysis, communication, technical assistance and guidance for major actions.

Responsibilities
- The PM plans, prepares, directs and oversees the design and construction of a variety of projects with responsibility for the projects from inception to completion and for project assessment, evaluation and follow up activities.
- Solicits approval on scope, budget and schedule ensuring accomplishment of all activities related to competitive and open-end contract.
- Establishes budgets for projects and is responsible for securing the funding data once projects have been fully approved.
- Ensures that assigned projects operate within approved budget and deviations from pre-approved budget, schedule, and scope of work are adequately documented and fully approved.
- Facilitates meetings to convey technical ideas to a broad spectrum of stakeholders and obtain intended outcomes.
Qualifications
- Specialized experience is experience which is directly related to the position which has equipped the individual with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position in the normal line of progression, including but not limited to: proficiency in the use of a personal computer (PC), utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, ProjectTeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera, and AutoCad.
- Expert knowledge of building design and construction technology and principles and ability to interpret construction documents.
- Extensive experience tracking budgets for projects and expert knowledge of estimating process for projects is preferred.
