Icelandair is seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager with strong knowledge of business processes and operations to join our Project Management Office (PMO). The PMO team leads high-impact projects that are critical to our flight operations, requiring strategic oversight, cross-functional collaboration, and a results-oriented mindset.

In this role, you will take the lead on projects aimed at improving and developing operational processes, coordinating between departments, and supporting the implementation of changes within Icelandair’s flight operations. We are looking for someone with a solid background in project management and a deep understanding of how efficient processes drive operational performance.

Responsibilities:

• Manage complex projects focused on operational improvements and process development
• Map, analyze, and optimize processes in close collaboration with experts and managers within flight operations
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and meet defined objectives
• Coordinate activities across departments and support effective change management
• Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams and business units
• Lead projects related to aircraft entry-into-service, phase-out, and maintenance initiatives

Qualifications:

• University degree in a relevant field
• Proven experience in project management, preferably within flight operations, manufacturing, transportation, or other complex operational environments
• Excellent analytical skills, a solution-oriented mindset, and the ability to drive change in collaboration with others
• Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
