Project Manager

28.41 - 38 per hour

Morson are currently supporting the recruitment of a Project Manager for our Bristol based commercial Aerospace client. You will be responsible for providing project management expertise & support for new aircraft development. You will support the transition into the digital age by bridging the gap between the current way of working and an agile, flexible, anticipative environment.

The role is being offered on a 12-month contract basis, with an expectation of 3 days a week onsite in Filton. We can pay a rate of 28.41 per hour PAYE or 38 per hour Umbrella inside IR35.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects in the new development perimeter successfully and efficiently.
• You will act in close cooperation with the project leaders.
• Providing transversal project management support to the project.
• Project governance definition.
• Project gate and review preparation.
• Project Integrated Planning, monitoring and control.
• Management of project interdependencies.
• Stakeholder management.
• Project Risks and opportunities identification.

Essential Skills

• Project Management experience in large organisations.
• Experience of risk management, budget management, scheduling, contract management.
• Demonstrate a view of both the bigger picture and attention to detail.
• Take initiative on a project.
• Build strong relationships, stake holder management.
• Work autonomously, with strong skills to structure the project.

Desirable Skills

• Familiar with Single Aisle Aircraft.
• Knowledge of aircraft development processes.
• Knowledge of digital tools
• PM certification.

Recognising the RESTRICTED nature of the work, suitable candidates will be SC cleared or eligible for this level of clearance
