As a Public Key Infrastructure Lead, youll be responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing management of the organizations PKI to ensure the security of its enterprise environment. This role involves leading all aspects of the PKI, including the management of cryptographic keys, digital certificates, and the related infrastructure to meet business and security requirements. The PKI Lead ensures that the PKI system is robust, reliable, and compliant with industry standards, while also providing expertise to other teams for integration and support.

Duties

• Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of the entire PKI lifecycle, including the creation and management of the Certificate Authority (CA) and Certificate Revocation List (CRL).
• Oversee the secure generation, distribution, and management of cryptographic keys and digital certificates across the enterprise.
• Develop and maintain PKI policies, procedures, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with industry best practices and organizational policies.
• Provide expert guidance and support to other IT teams for the integration of PKI solutions into applications and systems, such as for secure communication, authentication, and digital signatures.
• Monitor the health and performance of the PKI infrastructure, proactively identifying and resolving issues related to certificates, encryption, and authentication.
• Conduct regular security risk assessments of the PKI environment and implement upgrades to enhance security and performance.
• Stay current on emerging threats, technologies, and trends in public key infrastructure and cryptography.
