Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and continuously improve the organizations quality management system to comply with aviation industry standards, regulatory requirements (e.g., FAA, EASA, UK CAA, …), and company policies.
- Ensure the quality management system is effectively integrated into all business processes and operations.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to verify compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on all relevant aviation regulations and standards, ensuring the organization remains compliant.
- Prepare and submit required documentation and reports to regulatory agencies as necessary.
- Champion a culture of safety and compliance across the organization, ensuring safety is prioritized in all operations and decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring safe practices are embedded in the QMS.
- Monitor and analyze safety performance metrics, driving initiatives to improve safety outcomes.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on quality and compliance best practices.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., engineering, manufacturing, supply chain) to ensure quality and compliance are integrated into all aspects of the business.
- Prepare regular reports for management, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Drive corrective and preventive actions to address non-conformances and improve system effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in quality management.
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining quality systems.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience in Manufacturing & Production Quality Assurance.
