Description:The successful candidate will take on the role of the LM Aeronautics Enterprise Level Supportable LO (SLO) Sr. Manager within the Signature Management and Survivability (SM&S) Organization, overseeing all LM Aero SLO personnel including, but not limited to the F-22, F-35, and Advanced Development Programs. The candidate is expected to be technically proficient in signature materials, LO design and SLO plan development and implementation. In addition, the successful candidate will have detail level knowledge of LO repair and verification test methodologies.

The well qualified candidate is also a recognized Subject Matter Expert (SME), with an advanced understanding of full-scale signature phenomenology, prototype design, fabrication, and test; signature material integration; signature material application; and signature component and vehicle-level fabrication. The candidate will possess a firm understanding of supporting topics including electromagnetics theories, in/outdoor range operations, and LO repair verification testing methods and data interpretation.

The candidate will have practical skills that allow him/her to make hands-on contributions in the above fields. The candidate should be very comfortable with providing material application methodologies. Experience with and an understanding of range measurements (both signature and antenna performance) is a benefit.

The candidate will have demonstrated experience in all phases of CRAD and IRAD capture through program execution including, but not limited to proposal writing, generating basis of estimates, creating budget plans, spend curves and program schedules, writing CDRLs and final reports.

The candidate will have demonstrated experience in team management and be able to contribute to enterprise level SM&S leadership strategic planning and execution.

The candidate should have strong communication skills. A demonstrated ability to communicate both verbally and in writing is required as evidenced by prior final reports and technical briefings to large diverse groups. An ability to explain complex technical concepts in a readily comprehensible manner is an advantage.

The candidate will be expected to develop and execute program plans to meet needs defined by management or by the customer. The candidate will typically work without technical direction, but he/she may be called upon to provide technical direction for others. Experience in managing small teams is a benefit.
Basic Qualifications:
• BS degree is STEM (preferably in Materials Science) with a minimum of 15 years related experience.

• Signature Management expertise is required including experience in Supportable Low Observables, Low Observables Materials and Processes and Signature Integration.

• Previous people management experience (e.g. group, team, department, etc.) in diverse and dynamic team environment/organization.

• Understanding of LM Functional Program and ADP Program Management.

• Understanding of IRAD & CRAD programs.

• Candidate should be knowledgeable of all program phases as they relate to Signature encompassing Development, Production, and Sustainment.

• Program management experience in managing multiple large complex programs delivering successful cost, schedule, and financial outcomes.

• Experience working with internal and external customers.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
