The Revenue Management team is responsible for monitoring and evaluating revenue performance and executing pricing strategies across Signature Flight Supports international portfolio of FBOs. The Regional Manager, Revenue Planning will assess current pricing strategies by customer segment and propose new strategies to achieve the base and regional margin targets. In addition, this role will be required to articulate revenue management concepts and pricing strategies to business partners across Finance, Operations, Sales, and Marketing.
- Collaborate closely with field operation managers to develop pricing strategies to maximize margin growth using spanet knowledge, company goals, and revenue management concepts
- Evaluate base performance on an ongoing basis to identify pricing opportunities by segment and customer to drive margin growth
- Deep understanding of spanet performance through evaluation of spanet intelligence reporting and internal historical trends
- Leverage the Revenue Optimization/Analytics team to improve reporting capabilities and pricing strategies to drive sustained margin growth
- Monitor and report on competitor actions & posted pricing strategies in the spanet to assess risk and opportunity.
- Communicate evaluation of spanet performance through data visualization to business partners and senior executives to drive actions that lead to performance improvement
- Provide input to budget and forecast process based on performance trends
Minimum Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelors level degree in Economics, Statistics, Finance, Marketing Analytics, or related analytical field
- A Masters Degree in a relevant subject matter may be accepted in place of professional experience
- 5-7 years of previous experience in revenue management and/or pricing strategy
Additional knowledge and skills:
- Understanding Revenue Management concepts (i.e., demand forecasting, segmentation, dilution, displacement, etc.)
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong abilities in verbal and written communication, presentation of complex concepts, and partnering skills
- SQL and/or Databricks experience
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
