Job Description:

Qatar Airways (QR) is now recruiting for the role of Senior Account Manager - Leisure, based in Bucharest, Romania.

The job is to drive, manage and grow Qatar Airways Leisure sales portfolio in Romania as well as via our Travel agent partners and our own Digital direct channel.   As a Senior Account Manager you will maintain and grow the existing Leisure portfolio by supporting, developing and maintaining a long-term relationship with partners.

As a Senior Account Manager, you will:

  • Hunt new leisure business with a strong mindset, focus and creative ideas.
  • Analyze sales data and use business-and market intelligence to drive revenue.
  • Work effectively with Sales Force, Tableau and excel.
  • Engage in joint sales and marketing activities to grow the level and quality of Qatar Airways revenue.
  • Manage and co-ordinate sales projects and initiatives.
  • Represent at trade events, fairs and various activities, to promote Qatar Airways.
Qualifications

About You - The successful person will have the following qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
  • Relevant customer facing commercial experience within the travel industry, ideally within Airline or Travel Agent Sales.
  • Experience in successful negotiation and communication with clients / travel agents.
  • Positive and flexible sales mind and attitude.
  • Problem solving and team player skills, being confident in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Word/PowerPoint/Excel).
  • Good understanding of airline processes (e.g. Pricing/Distribution technology), systems (e.g. Amadeus, GDSes) and the travel industry in general.
  • Knowledge of Sales Force is beneficial.
  • Fluent in English and Romanian. 
  • Has legal rights to live and work in Romania.
