We have an exciting opportunity to join our Brand and Marketing team as Senior Brand Manager (Senior Brand Specialist).

The role you will play: 

Reporting to the Chapter Lead Brand Strategy, youll lead the delivery of world-class global brand marketing strategies, plans & communications that will grow global brand awareness and relevance and improve commercial returns. As a brand leader and guardian, youll ensure the brand is well integrated, understood and delivered across all touchpoints in global markets.  

Essential will be your outstanding leadership, communication and relationship building skills. You will be confident, resilient, and flexible, with the ability to challenge the status quo, and deliver on results. Youll be an expert in brand strategy, with the ability to both think holistically and be on the tools.

About the team:

Within the wider Brand and Marketing Chapter Area, the Brand Centre of Excellence is comprised of brand strategy, content marketing and social media. We have the privilege of working on some of career defining initiatives - including new brand communications, Safety Videos and partnerships such as Department of Conservation, All Blacks and Black Ferns. With ambitious growth aspirations, theres never been a more exciting time to be a part of Air New Zealands brand story.

What you will bring:

  • Significant experience working at a strategic level and driving large brand strategies from discovery and development through to execution.
  • Passionate about building brands that connect and resonate with New Zealanders, and  disrupt and capture the hearts and minds of customers globally.
  • Experience driving high performance relationships with agency partners, branded partners, ambassadors and suppliers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships internally and externally across all business levels.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets to ensure effective cost control and achievement of targets.
  • Experience in applying trends, and industry, market, and customer insights to shape marketing strategies.
  • High learning agility and flexibility in dynamic environments, with the ability to lead those around you in a structured and supportive way.
  • While not mandatory, experience working in an Agile model is advantageous.
  • University graduate with 8+ years of brand management, marketing and communications experience.
