De wereld ligt aan je voeten als Senior Consultant Operations met focus op Analytics bij KLM. Met jouw analyses en advies los je operationele problemen op, zelfs al voordat ze ontstaan. Je trekt projecten binnen de divisie Operations Control, maar maakt deel uit van het Operations Consulting team dat werkt aan vraagstukken binnen de gehele KLM operatie. Je landt in een innovatieve omgeving waarin ondernemerschap en autonomie gewaardeerd worden. Help jij ons om vanuit data de operatie te verbeteren?
Binnen onze operatie kunnen er altijd dingen beter. Daarom leeft onze afdeling naar een duidelijke filosofie: Operational Excellence. Om dit in praktijk te brengen zit je er als consultant continu bovenop. Je werkt samen met je consultant collega’s én met stakeholders vanuit het hele bedrijf om het integrale beeld te bewaken. Uit gesprekken en eigen observaties identificeer je bottlenecks en zoek je met behulp van data naar oplossingen die de organisatie vooruithelpen. Dat doe je objectief, maar wél met de belangen van de verschillende stakeholders in het achterhoofd.
Verder:
Je thuisbasis is het Operations Control Center op Schiphol-Oost, maar eigenlijk werk je overal op en rond de luchthaven: van de vertrekhal tot het hoofdkantoor. Je bent ook 1x per week op het ODS kantoor op Schiphol-Oost om met alle collega’s samen te komen. Ons team is flexibel, fris én volop in ontwikkeling. Leuk natuurlijk, want dat betekent dat jij meedenkt over de toekomst van onze ploeg. We ontwikkelen snel en zijn onderdeel van de divisie Operations Decision Support (ODS). Daarmee vallen we direct onder de Chief Operating Officer (COO) – dé eindverantwoordelijke voor de hele KLM-operatie.
Je vindt het leuk om zelf stevige analyses te doen in combinatie met strategisch stakeholder management en het functioneel aansturen van een klein team. Daarnaast zijn nieuwsgierigheid & abstract denken noodzakelijk om als consultant succesvol te zijn. Je bent constant actief op zoek naar verbetering en gaat daarvoor gerust eens buiten de gebaande paden. Linksom of rechtsom: je laat je niet zomaar tegenhouden. Je zorgt voor sterke adviezen en weet het (senior)management daarin mee te krijgen. Je beweegt je soepel van het ene project naar het andere en je ziet bij iedere nieuwe opdracht binnen mum van tijd hoe de vork in de steel zit.
