As Senior Director, Strategy - Connected Enterprise (HCE), you will lead a team on growth opportunities, strategic sales and marketing programs, acquisition targeting activities, and portfolio assessment initiatives. You will be responsible for driving the development and execution of strategic initiatives that shape the future of a global industrial technology leader. This role will guide the company in making informed decisions, setting strategic priorities, and achieving long-term growth and profitability.

 

You will work out of our Atlanta, GA location on a hybrid work schedule.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive corporate strategy, aligning it with Honeywells long-term vision and business objectives.
  • Conduct extensive research to gain insights into market trends, customer behaviors, and competitive landscapes.
  • Monitor emerging technologies and industry trends, providing insights to support innovative approaches and maintain competitive advantages.
  • Perform financial modeling and analysis to evaluate investment opportunities, assess risks, and measure the financial impact of strategic decisions.
  • Effectively communicate the corporate strategy to internal and external stakeholders. Foster collaboration and alignment throughout the organization.
  • Identify and assess potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to ensure the successful execution of the corporate strategy.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 3-5 years experience in management consulting with strong experience in strategic planning and execution process, assessment of core and adjacent markets, and leading organic strategy in a B2B model. 
  • Industrial software domain experience.
  • Strategic mindset and the ability to think creatively and critically.
  • Financial acumen and proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
  • Experience in portfolio management and market analysis.

 

WE VALUE

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills - Able to add value to senior level management interactions, with a proven track record of developing, communicating, and creating buy in around business strategies.
  • Strong personal organization and prioritization skills; ability to successfully manage large, complex projects from inception to conclusion, involving diverse, cross-functional teams.
  • Commercial experience (sales, marketing, product, and/or P&L management).
  • Experience managing and influencing within a matrixed environment.
  • Demonstrated success operating in a high-performance culture.
