Position SummaryThis position is responsible to own and drive digital innovation initiatives within the Airlines Global Marketing department by combining strategic thinking with hands-on project management. The role involves advancing current digital projects, launching new innovation-led initiatives, and enhancing customer engagement across all spaneting channels.
Key Accountabilities- provide excellent and efficient service to our passengers at Check in and at other Lead the development, enhancement, and scaling of digital innovation projects, from ideation through to launch and continuous improvement.
- Oversee key digital solutions, ensuring they integrate smoothly with spaneting, customer experience, and commercial goals.
- Identify trends in innovative technologies and pilot new technologies for possible adoption.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners (vendor, agencies, tech suppliers) to design future-forward brand experiences and deliver digital initiatives that differentiates the brand globally.
- Build business cases for new initiatives, secure stakeholder alignment, and translate ideas into executable roadmaps.
- Pilot “test and learn” projects, turning experiments into scalable solutions that drive growth and customer loyalty.
- Define and track performance metrics / KPIs for digital innovation, demonstrating clear commercial and customer value.
- Stay ahead of global spaneting and technology trends, proactively identifying opportunities for the brand to lead.
- Ensure innovation efforts align with regulatory, brand, data-privacy, and commercial guidelines.
Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Technology or a related discipline
- At least 4 years of experience in 360° spaneting, digital innovation, or technology-driven roles, preferably in travel, tourism or aviation industry
Areas of Experience- Proven exposure to emerging technologies, including but not limited to AI, immersive media (AR/VR), chatbots and personalisation
- Strong knowledge of AI ecosystems – from evaluation and testing to deployment and continuous improvement
Personality Traits- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
