Position Summary Accountable to support the Senior Manager Group Safety Investigation Training Promotion and deliver effective, timely and accurate incident and accident investigations to ensure safe and secure operation. Accountable to support the Senior Manager GSITP in the implementation of Safety Management System (SMS) across the organization, delivery of incident and accident investigation outcome, engaging / assigning of hazards and incident reports to respective BU SAP (Safety Anchor Person) and executing safety and operational risk management functions. Accountable to performs day to day support of the Corporate Safety Information System (CSIS) - Safety Reporting & Compliance & Quality Assurance across all BUs and subsidiaries.
Key Accountability- Conduct Safety Investigations as assigned in accordance with the requirements of International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) Annex 13 and company procedures.
- Responsible in scrutinizing hazard/safety report received, allocation of specific risk level and responding to the reporter in order to ensure that all safety issues raised/reported are properly addressed and mitigated in the interest of enhancing safety.
- Responsible for conduct, coordinate and close out of safety Investigation depending on the risk level assigned to each incident as per company procedures, evaluating root cause, and ensuring that all correction actions recommended are implemented in order to prevent recurrence of similar occurrence.
- Responsible in monitoring and highlighting increasing trend in safety hazards and incidents or any deterioration of companywide safety performance to ensure timely and appropriate controls are put in place to eradicate or mitigate negative impact to the organization.
- Perform CSIS related training, maintenance, performance, administration and CSIS user support.
- Formulate stronger links between Group Safety Security (GSS) and all employees by establishing lines of communication, leveraging the usage of communication tools available in GSS.
Qualification & Working Experience- Degree in Engineer/Safety Management system /Human Factors
- Possess incident/accident investigator qualification.
- Possess Human Factors and/or safety management system qualification
- 3 - 5 years of working experience in Operating Technical Crew/Engineer/Safety
Areas of Experience- Awareness in safety related activities and issues.
- Strong analytical skills in delivering safety investigations.
- Good Communication skills in dealing with Internal and External stakeholder.
- Aware of regulatory requirements
