OVERVIEW:
YOUR ROLE
Senior Executive, Security (Compliance & Standards) reporting to the Head, Security. As Senior Executive, Security, you will ensure that airline operations adhere to regulatory, safety, and operational standards required by CAAP, ICAO, IATA, and AirAsia Group policies. You will be responsible for monitoring compliance, managing audits, developing corrective actions, and embedding a strong culture of standards across operational departments.
WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION:
Ensure full compliance of airline operations with CAAP, ICAO, IATA, and AirAsia Group standards, manuals, and requirements.
Coordinate internal and external audits, inspections, and reviews; oversee closure of findings through effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Develop, update, and implement compliance monitoring programs, policies, and procedures to maintain operational integrity.
Conduct compliance risk assessments, track regulatory changes, and advise management on implications for airline operations.
Lead awareness programs and training initiatives to strengthen compliance and standards culture across departments.
Prepare reports, compliance dashboards, and trend analysis for senior management and regulators.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure operational manuals, SOPs, and quality systems are aligned with regulatory requirements.
Support incident/occurrence investigations by providing compliance and standards expertise, ensuring learnings are embedded in future operations.
Act as liaison with CAAP, other regulatory bodies, and industry partners on compliance-related matters.
Contribute to continuous improvement projects that enhance efficiency while upholding regulatory and safety standards.
WHO YOU ARE:
A compliance-driven professional with a strong background in aviation operations or regulatory affairs.
Knowledgeable in CAAP regulations, ICAO Annexes, IOSA standards, and international best practices.
Skilled in audit management, documentation, and corrective action planning.
Strong analytical thinker who can interpret regulations and translate them into practical, operational requirements.
Excellent communicator and collaborator, comfortable engaging with regulators, auditors, and cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Aeronautical Engineering, Quality/Compliance Management, or related field.
At least 3–5 years of experience in compliance, quality assurance, or standards management in the airline or aviation industry.
Audit or compliance certifications (e.g., ICAO, IOSA, ISO 9001 lead auditor) are an advantage.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple audits and compliance tasks simultaneously.
