The Boeing Company’s Communications & Collaboration (C&C) Product organization is currently seeking a Senior Insite Product Delivery Architect to join the team in Seattle, WA; Berkeley, MO; North Charleston, SC; or Seal Beach, CA.
Join our team as a Senior Insite Product Delivery Architect, where you will play a vital role in supporting the Enterprise Insite platforms! In this dynamic position, you will collaborate with customers and vendors, focusing on key objectives and priorities using Agile and SAFe methodologies.
The Enterprise Insite Portal empowers users by providing seamless access to information, applications, tools, and social connections—all within a single, secure, and visually engaging website. Your expertise will help unify relevant content from multiple sources, creating an easily managed site that enhances user experience.
As a successful candidate, you will recognize the importance of Insite and work directly with the Communication & Collaboration (C&C) Product Family, alongside identified vendors, to support operations and maintenance. Your contributions will be essential in implementing product development efforts that enable C&C to achieve their Program Increment (PI) goals. Position Responsibilities:
Provides senior-level development and maintenance for Boeing’s Enterprise InSite platform, delivering Java Enterprise Edition (EE) full‑stack solutions and ensuring platform reliability across on‑prem and cloud environments
Provides backup support to a Technical Architect lead as needed
Supports Level 3 (L3) on‑call operations and incident escalation, drive change and configuration management, and enforce deployment and quality standards
Collaborates with Product, User Experience (UX), and Technical Architecture teams within Agile/SAFe to translate requirements into deliverables and mentor junior engineers
Owns end-to-end delivery activities such as requirements, design, testing, deployment while defining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and implementing automated reporting and performance improvements
Prepares detailed specifications from which programs are developed and coded
Develops complex test plans to verify logic of new or modified programs
Conducts quality assurance activities such as peer reviews
Performs analysis, design, configuring, programming, and unit testing for applications
Support business-driven requirements from management and drive governance, including change and configuration management throughout the product lifecycle
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience developing software in Enterprise Java (Java EE)
5+ years of experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Configuration Management systems, Change Management, and PLM Processes and Tools
5+ years of experience analyzing and presenting data
5+ years of experience with participating Incident Response and/or Vulnerability Management activities, including planning, assessment, and mitigation
3+ years of experience designing, developing, coding, testing and debugging system software
3+ years of experience developing Web based Application solutions in Cloud hosted environments using Java technologies
Experience with Agile or SAFe practices, including daily standup, User Stories, Sprints, and Release Planning
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience collaborating with Technical Architects, UX Designers, and Business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design systems that meet complex business needs
Experience conducting peer reviews and quality assurance activities to ensure high programming standards
Proficiency in programming languages and technologies such as HTML5, CSS, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, jQuery, SQL, and C
Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL solutions
Familiarity with Solr/Lucene, Hibernate, Spring Framework (including Spring Integration), REST, SOAP, Jenkins, and Git
Experience with Linux and Windows administration, networking, distributed caching, RDF, Single Sign-On patterns (Boeing WSSO, OAuth, SAML)
Knowledge of hardware/application clustering, AI, advanced internet architectures, scalability, real-time analytics/performance monitoring, LDAP & Active Directory, data warehousing, report generation, security patterns, and architectures
Experience with project planning, risk management, stakeholder engagement, change management, quality assurance, documentation, reporting, budgeting, and financial management

Summary pay range: $120,700 – $174,800
