ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM
As a Senior Lead Enterprise Architect, you will lead end-to-end solution projects to meet SITA clients’ business needs and uncover new opportunities. In this role, you will work directly with SITA clients to understand their business requirements and existing IT ecosystems. You will design comprehensive target architectures covering technical, delivery, and operational aspects, while also defining reusable solution blueprints to support presales, delivery, and operations.
You will be responsible for designing complete, end-to-end solutions using components from SITA, third parties, or the client—whichever is most appropriate. You will coordinate and align the architecture contributions from internal teams and external providers, ensuring a cohesive solution. Throughout the project lifecycle, you will oversee architectural outcomes and ensure that each phase delivers the expected business value.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead the development of Technical and Enterprise Architectures across diverse IT services within customer environments, covering both ATI (Air Travel Industry) and non-ATI scopes.
- Drive architectural governance and strategy across the full customer state, ensuring alignment with transformation goals and improved decision-making.
- Manages and assesses the strategies of current and target enterprise architectures, and roadmaps development.
- Recommend and implement strategies for security, reliability, performance, and scalability—spanning data, integration, platform, and cloud workloads.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their IT ecosystems and business requirements, identifying areas for optimization and innovation.
- Design end-to-end solutions that fulfill customer goals while maximizing the value of SITA’s portfolio and capabilities.
- Ensure all functional and non-functional requirements are met; manage and document exceptions with stakeholder agreement.
- Develop integration plans and estimate solution costs, supporting the creation of comprehensive budget proposals.
- Guide teams to deliver flexible, scalable and pragmatic end-to-end solutions.
- Create reusable solution blueprints and go-to-spanet frameworks to support presales, delivery, and operational excellence.
- Ensure solution designs comply with industry standards, internal architectural principles, and best practices.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and trends to continuously evolve SITA’s architectural approaches.
Qualifications
ABOUT YOUR SKILLS
- Minimum of 8–10 years of IT experience designing, deploying, and managing complex, large-scale enterprise solutions in system-critical environments.
- At least 5 years of experience in IT outsourcing and/or transformation programs.
- Degree in technical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics) or equivalent work experience demonstrating proficiency at this level.
- Expertise across multiple IT domains, including Cloud (Azure, AWS), Network, Applications, Databricks, Data Sharing and Integration, APIs, Collaboration Platforms, or similar, with good knowledge of Scrum and Agile.
- Proven ability to partner with Sales teams in responding to RFPs and support consultative selling efforts.
- Proven multi-vendor and multi-technology domain expertise, supported by relevant certifications
- Commercial acumen with the ability to propose pragmatic, business-focused solutions using consultative selling techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, enabling effective engagement with clients, third parties, and internal stakeholders to ensure solutions meet requirements and execution fulfills client expectations.
- Confident presentation skills with the ability to adapt communication style to different audiences, including senior stakeholders. Ability to clearly articulate value propositions and connect solutions to real business challenges.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, combined with solid problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Experience leading as a practice lead, with the ability to mentor, coach, and instruct across the organization.
- Fluency in English.
