Key Responsibilities:

  • Remote role with up to 20 travel

The Senior Manager - Calibrate Programs is the primary support to the Calibrate Managing Director and has principal oversight and responsibility for all program activity (budget, design, strategy, planning, communication plans, delivery, risk mitigation and expansive responsibilities.) Proactively monitors progress, adherence to program governance, resolves issues and works to innovate continuous improvement in all aspects of the program.

· Maintain and continuously update overall milestones and activities via project tracker, across all Calibrate teams

· Provide program updates to business unit and senior leaders within and outside of Technical Operations

· Oversee all workstreams while coordinating DEI goals and projections with broader team

· Collaborates with team members to determine and prioritize business strategies while working with leadership to deliver, monitor and communicate progress towards goals

· Continuously refine and manage program governance, including internal Calibrate meetings and external-facing sessions and oversees strategic business initiatives from ideation to implementation

· Liaise with workstreams and other parties (eg Finance, HR, Labor Relations, Legal, Government Relations)

· Support internal recruiting launch activities, and coordinate with Programs & Policies for site readiness

· Support HR analysis of hiring targets, location, target segments, attrition, backfill coordination

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Required Qualifications):

· Bachelors degree or 4 years of relevant work experience

· 4+ years of experience in Program Management

· Previous experience leading and managing complex programs

· Exposure to Tech Ops, Airport Ops or Operations in general

· Knowledge of various Project Management Methodologies

· Demonstrate effective Team Management

· Strong Project planning, budgeting, and risk management

· Demonstrate strong communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills

· Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

· Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

· Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

· Highly proficient with SharePoint and the Microsoft Office Suite

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

· Masters degree or 6 years of relevant work experience

· Consulting in the areas of management and/or strategy

· Aviation/Aeronautics, Business or related field

· Data analytics experience

· Working knowledge of Tech Ops and/ or operations-related aspects of United

· Experience with Labor Relations or work in with/in a group with organized labor
