PURPOSETo provide strategic procurement leadership and hands on delivery ownership for higher $ value / materiality procurement sourcing activity.
Working with the Head of Group Procurement, stakeholders and category leads to identify strategic sourcing initiatives, triage, build pipeline and execute assigned initiatives.
Managing one direct report to deliver on objectives, mitigate risk and deliver commercial benefit for Sita and its clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Creation of strategic initiatives capability within the central procurement team with an ability to identify, triage and execute selected material procurement activities, across all categories and business units in collaboration with the category leads and regional teams (RFP`s, E Auctions, Outsourcing, Transformation Project Sourcing initiatives).
- Build pipeline of initiatives (tiered by priority & ROI)
- Ensure robust and timely execution for assigned /owned large strategic sourcing projects leveraging SITA digital procurement tools to deliver savings, efficiencies and value add.
- Alignment with key SITA transformation projects and activity to deliver key in scope procurement initiatives
- Provision of timely MI and reporting on key savings, spend data and other measures.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE- 10+ Years IT / Indirect procurement experience in a global environment
- Leadership skills and experience
- Business partnering & relationship building
- Negotiation
- Contract Drafting
- Team player but with ability to work on own initiative
- Digital tools experience / IT literate
- Commercial mindset / numeracy
- Inquisitive and innovative

Qualifications
- Degree / MCIPs preferred but not essential
