Job Description SummaryWe are recruiting for a Senior Manufacturing Manager who will act as GEs representative and interface at our MRO customer in France.
In this role you would coordinate and expedite the flow of materials (from suppliers and within departments) according to the production schedules, plan and schedule material/production needs and impact approaches, projects, and programs in support of the contracts being supported.
In addition you would ensure quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the local team.

Job Description

Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage master planning, material processes and systems
  • Prepare and update production schedules and capacity needs.
  • Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs. 
  • Optimize inventory and create process improvements.
  • Responsible for safety, quality, delivery and cost of storefront entity.
  • Serves as best practice/quality resource.
  • Contributes towards business strategy and policy development.
  • Works in collaboration with Product line and supplier teams to meet customer needs
  • Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing supply and/or engineering.
  • Takes new perspective on existing solutions.
  • Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations.
  • Support colleagues with less experience.
  • May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements.
  • Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Degree from an accredited university and/or relevant industry experience
  • Proven and demonstrable experience in Manufacturing & Materials Planning and Execution
  • Confident communicator with excellent experience in managing customer and stakeholder relations.
  • Fluent in both French and English (speaking and writing).

  • Technical aircraft engine experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
