Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is hiring a Senior Manufacturing Manager (Level L) to lead our Operations Team in Helena, Montana.

This is an exciting time to join the Boeing Helena Team. Helena is a growing site with a focus on achieving and sustaining higher production rates. In this role, you will have a unique opportunity to partner directly with the site leader to build and implement future plans. You will lead the manufacturing operations team in achieving our overall productions goals.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees and first-level managers performing activities within multiple manufacturing disciplines.

  • Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals and objectives.

  • Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.

  • Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers.

This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

 

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required.  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of management experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience leading production systems and/or process improvements while leading a team.

  • Experience building strong relationships and partnerships with stakeholders across multiple functions.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience using lean manufacturing and/or continuous improvement practices and tools.

  • Experience leading systematic problem solving.

  • Experience in building a culture of safety and quality.

  • Emotional intelligence and resilience.

  • Experience in an aerospace environment.

  • Knowledge of the Boeing Production System (BPS).

Relocation:

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary Pay Range: $123,300 - $150,700
