The Boeing Company’s Human Resources (HR) Process Excellence team is seeking a Senior Program Management Office (PMO) Manager to support the Global HR Operations, Services and Technology Organization in Tukwila, WA; Chicago, IL; Everett, WA; Hazelwood, MO; Mesa, AZ; North Charleston, SC.
The position provides an opportunity to partner with internal and external teams to deliver strategic programs and projects for the HR Organization, specifically Services & Technology solutions. Our PMO Manager position is a leadership position focused on execution oversight and governance for a team that consists of Program and Project Managers.
This leader will build and mentor high performing team to deliver consistent and measurable end-to-end delivery, operational improvements and exceptional employee experience.
Position Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain staffing plans and forecasts
- Ensure coordination, management, and delivery of program and project deliverables within the relevant scope
- Work with the immediate manager to develop long-term vision and strategies for the PMO Organization
- Maintain the team operating rhythm and meeting cadence, but also look for ways to improve
- Develop and execute PMO team meetings – weekly, monthly, quarterly
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of the portfolio management reports, usability and adherence to prescribed guidelines
- Build relationships across the Global HR Services Organization with key stakeholders to drive successful execution of the programs and projects
- Understand portfolio, program, project level risks, issues, opportunities and work with leadership on mitigation planning and tracking
- Manage and execute assigned programs or projects when needed
- Provide coaching and development plans to the team members
- Participate in the advancement of PMO and Program Management best practices and standard
- Develop and maintain strong knowledge of the functional areas intersecting the PMO leadership role
- Work with the Portfolio team to establish and utilize the appropriate processes, tools and governance to effectively support program and project execution
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience managing programs, projects, change management and utilizing standard project management tools
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, leading teams and/or projects to successful completion
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelors degree or higher
- Experience managing multiple deliverables at once
- Experience in staffing/hiring plans
- Experience working with implementation partners and suppliers
- Experience with development programs

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as spanet and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range: $146,200 - $211,600
