As a Senior Project Manager, Information Technology you will be responsible for supporting Information Security and IT Infrastructure services and functions as well as providing support for related initiatives. The primary duties of this position include developing and executing on detailed project plans, leading project team members, developing schedules and individual responsibilities, managing internal and external project resources, and communicating project status and risks to stakeholders. 

This position will leverage IT and Project Management strategies to deliver projects on schedule and within budget. The nature of this work requires an individual whose background combines functional system expertise and business management skills with an understanding of information technology, highly advanced problem solving and analytical skills, and the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical users.

What you’ll do:

• Support the Director, IT PMO by fostering a partnership with the CTO/CISO to capture, prioritize, and deliver on projects that align with the IT Infrastructure and Information Security strategic vision
• Lead and manage IT Infrastructure and Information Security projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Serve as the main point of contact for all stakeholders, keeping them informed of project progress, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.
• Coordinate with internal technical teams, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring the successful completion of project milestones.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk assessments. Ensure project scopes, team responsibilities, milestone dates, and the procurement strategy are clearly stated for all assigned projects.
• Apply technical expertise to understand and address the business, information security, and technology requirements 
• Foster a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering outstanding customer service and resolving any project-related issues.
• Facilitate team engagement, including team chartering, group problem-solving, and/or process improvement work.
• Ensure the integration of sound project management principles and practices into all projects.

What skills you will require:     

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or comparable degree, training, certification, and/or work experience in Information Technology
• 5+ years experience managing large, complex IT projects
• Ability to create and deliver influential large scale project communications with clarity, confidence, and enthusiasm
• Deep understanding of project management methodologies and best practices Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), technical understanding of large business technology environments, including operating systems, network systems, and business applications, Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time and multiple commitments / projects simultaneously
• Expertise with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
• Superior written / verbal communication, organizational, and analytical skills
• Ability to travel internationally (project requirements vary but possible up to 20)

Preferred:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent 
• Experience using Smartsheet for project management
• Experience working within a variety of project management methodologies (e.g.: Waterfall, Agile)
• Experience working on IT projects related IT Infrastructure and Information Security
