What You Will Do:
The Compression Systems Module Center (CSMC) organization is searching for a Senior Supervisor, Materials to drive our materials and logistics transformation.
The success of the Senior Supervisor, Materials will be measured by developing strategies and executing goals with the business units/departments and objectives to meet capacity requirements, inventory controls, cost reduction objectives, on time delivery, and control tower measures.
Will work directly with CSMC administration, materials, operations and 3PL organizations as well as the internal manufacturing groups to redefine processes, execute on business requirements and deliver to customer expectations.
Execute materials transformation initiatives and drive a strategic materials management architecture to include the releasing of material, managing handling methods, kitting and material movement following the fundamentals of line back logistics
Provide leadership and direction with emphasis on change management.
Ensure that CSMC is transforming to meet the customer demands of a manufacturing environment
Establish and execute standards and expectations for work effort and performance. Provide feedback on performance to those standards
Implement lean manufacturing measures to insure value streams and shop operations are balanced at all times and/or to be able to identify areas of opportunity quickly
Qualifications You Must Have:
A Bachelors degree and a minimum of 5 years experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, materials management or closely related industrial environment OR an Associates degree and 7 or more years experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, materials management or closely related industrial environment
In absence of a degree, High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 9 years experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, materials management or closely related industrial environment
Working knowledge of shop practices, processes and procedures
Experience using Microsoft Office
Prior experience in a supervisory or team lead capacity

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
