ABOUT THE ROLE AND THE TEAM
Reporting to the Head of Portfolio Training, you will be a part of the SITA Strategy & Growth Enablement, Portfolio Training team, responsible primarily for customer trainings on Baggage Management portfolio and occasionally supporting our sales teams with product knowledge.
The ideal candidate will have a strong baggage management technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for educating others about SITA’s products and solutions. You will work closely with product managers, solution specialists, solution designers, solution engineers, sales and relevant product teams to ensure that training materials are up to date and tailored to the audiences needs.
Travel
- Up to 50 global travel might be required as per customer training requests.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Training Delivery
- Deliver hands-on training sessions (virtually and onsite) for multiple Baggage Management products to customers around the world, both virtually and on-site. This role may require conducting virtual sessions across different time zones from your home location and occasionally includes training internal SITA teams.
- Maintain up-to-date, organized training records, including certifications and performance evaluations.
- Coordinate with Project Managers and customers to develop tailored training plans for extensive projects.
- Work closely with the Commercial Teams to support value proposition for Go-To-Market (GTM) activities.
- Collaborate with Solution Specialists teams to meet upcoming customer training requests.
- Ensure seamless integration and availability of course materials for all training initiatives.
Aviation and IT Expertise
- Employ deep expertise in aviation operations and airport ground handling technologies.
Innovative Technology Integration
- Oversee the incorporation and management of advanced learning technologies, including remote and virtual learning environments.
- Ensure the effective use of productivity tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Training Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement
- Ensure impeccable customer trainings delivery.
- Maintain high training standards and satisfaction.
- Design and implement assessments to measure trainee understanding and competence.
Customized Training Solutions
- Design engaging and interactive learning experiences, adjusting training approaches to meet individual and organizational needs.
- Maintain up-to-date, organized training records, including certifications and performance evaluations.
Project Management and Stakeholder Collaboration
- Coordinate with Project Managers and customers to develop tailored training plans for extensive projects.
- Collaborate with Solution Specialists teams to foresee upcoming customer training requests.
- Ensure seamless integration and availability of course materials for all training initiatives.
Subject Matter Expertise
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for both internal teams and external partners, contributing to the development of training materials and advising on training requirements for RFPs (Request for Proposals)

Qualifications
EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in training and development within the aviation industry.
- Demonstrated cross disciplinary collaboration across teams and developing innovative educational programs.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in educational technology and e-learning platforms.
- Knowledge of ITIL, Agile Scrum, and ITSM methodologies is highly desirable
- Deep expertise in aviation operations and airport ground handling technologies.
- SITA WorldTracer /Bag Manager systems and familiarity with modern baggage handling technologies.
