Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Operates lift truck or uses hand truck to move, convey or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.
• Package and prep all components correctly to ensure no damage during transit
• Manage all Aersale and customer owned shipments to meet company goals.
• Manage and maintain inventory of onsite engines, engine stands and all inbound and outbound engines shipments.
• Assess daily shipments to prioritize time sensitive shipments
• Work with all internal departments to meet company goals.
• Work directly with Materials Coordinators to manage and ship customer assets in an acceptable timeframe.
• Work directly with Aersale compliance for all international shipments (Knowledge in International shipping and AES).
• Maintain all tracked logs and documentation too successfully pass all audits related to shipping department including pictures.
• Ensuring shipping department is complying with all regulatory agencies, customer and Aersale requirements including shared data logs, pictures and files. (Maintaining proof of compliance).
• Compare, identifying information and counts, weighs or measures items of all outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records.
• Hazmat Certification in IATA and DOT 49CFR
• Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies
• Additional duties as requested by Management.
Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
• At least 3 year of relevant experience
• IATA and 49CR Certified
Skills and Abilities:
• Attention to detail is imperative.
• Must be able to multi-task.
• Must be efficient with a desire to succeed.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must exhibit a high level of confidentiality with work product.
• Must be able to manage time to meet time sensitive shipments.
• Operated 3K, 5K and 10k 15K 22K shipments
Physical Requirements:
• May be required to bend, squat, sit, stand, walk, crawl, work in tight spaces and handle objects.
• Occasionally required to push/pull, stack, reach above shoulder level or carry light-weight materials up to 50 lbs.
