Job Description:

Responsible for the repair, maintenance and overhaul of aircraft components received at Cobalt while producing quality products, meeting customer expectations, promoting a safe and clean work environment, encouraging respect among co-workers, achieving company projected goals and be attentive to your subordinates to prevent re-work. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Obtain a Repairman Certificate and/or A&P License
  • Good understanding of Cobalt processes and administrative duties
  • Achieve customer commitment dates and/or expectations
  • Identify PMA DER candidates to create cost savings and increase profitability
  • Review daily time and attendance
  • Determine estimated ship dates conflicting with a customer commitment date
  • Establish close communication with associated departments
  • Complete part requisitions on an accurate and timely manner
  • Provide on the job technical training to all employees as required
  • Provide work scope information for job quotations Interface with shop leads on repair options and requirements
  • Consistently complete work orders within assigned goals and target dates
  • Track labor hours verses target hours accrued on work orders
  • Responsible for the impact of quality workmanship and pursue aggressive productivity practices
  • Communication through means of; face to face, telephone, email, and status report updates
Job Requirements:
  • Must have a minimum of 5-7 years Aviation experience; preferably in a repair station environment
  • Should have decision and problem-solving skills, while thinking creatively
  • Practiced at interpreting various types of information to others
  • Possess good understanding of all technical data (CMM, SRM, drawings, etc.)
  • Must possess skillful communication etiquette
  • Ability to process all repairs/overhauls per FAA guidelines and requirements
