You will be accountable for FLIGHT DECK activation as it relates to overall site Readiness to meet the customer need. In this role, you will be a coach to your peers to problem solve objectively and challenge respectfully, take your vision and apply it to the culture of the shop to ensure long term sustainment, and also be responsible for growing a team to execute the integration of new and/or improved business systems.Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities:
- Work alongside the site leader and site staff to develop a short and long-term sustainable strategy for functions such as Hard and Soft Capacity, MRL maturity, APQP, FLIGHT DECK Activation (MPS and DLB), and Delivery Risk Abatement
- Collaborate across the part family with strategy leaders to ensure a cohesive vision exists that achieves the goals of the broader team
- Advanced level of coaching and problem-solving maturity to grow peers and direct reports to promote sustainable solutions
- Manage the transformation of the site’s master planning, material processes and systems, work with fulfillment and production team to develop and mature processes
- Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs
- Optimize inventory and delivery
- Influence the development of strategy for the area of responsibility, including control of resources and influences policy formulation
- Interpret simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services
- Assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders
- Offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and can construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision
- May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity
- Communicate difficult concepts and may influence others options on particular topics
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of supply chain operations experience)
- At least an additional 5 years of supply chain operations experience
