Job Description:

This requirement is for Program Depot Maintenance (PDM) Services in support of the United States Coast Guard (USCG), and Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) on the HC-144 and HC-27J airframes.  For this requirement, the Contractor shall provide personnel, technical capability, supervision, and non-personal services necessary to perform Aircraft Maintenance Services (AMS) on aircraft, Ground Support Equipment (GSE), sheet metal, electrical, avionics equipment, and various other aircraft parts and components.  This also includes performing modifications to existing airframes and Contract Field Teams (CFT) to support operational air stations.  The services required by this contract could cover all aircraft platforms and ground support equipment supported by the USCG.

The Site Supervisor shall be a supervisory employee with management responsibility and full authority to supervise and manage Contractor personnel working on this contract and to make decisions regarding contract issues and employees performing under this contract. The Site Supervisor's duties shall include, but are not limited to:

  • Shall have full authority to act for the Contractor on all matters relating to the daily operation of this contract. When unavailable, a person must be identified to the COR, CS, and SKO to handle all duties and responsibilities in their absence
  • Ensure Contractor employees are following all applicable ALC instructions and policies.
  • Manage the contract by organizing, directing, coordinating, and implementing all activities and tasking as determined by the Government.
  • Supervise contractor staff to include addressing personnel issues, and meeting priorities. Tasking and priorities shall be established by the Government.
  • Perform all onboarding to include obtaining access to the facility.
  • Oversee any employee removals, and offboarding, and coordinate such removals with the COR.
  • Address all conduct and /or performance issues promptly, notifying the COR of action being taken to resolve the issue(s)
  • Monitor the performance of Contractor employees and report to the Government as requested
  • When not on-site and notified by the either the COR, CS, or KO, it is expected that the Site Supervisor will be on-site within 2 hours of notification to address any and all issues.
  • Respond to phone calls, emails, and/or texts from the COR, KO, CS, Deputy, General foreman, or Line supervisor within two hours.
  • Be available on-site for meetings as needed at the request of the COR, KO, CS, Deputy, General foreman, or First Line supervisor.
  • Interact with Government program officials regarding issues, status of tasks, and aircraft schedules.
  • Coordinate financial and staffing resources
  • Review and validate employee timesheets
  • Coordinate delivery of weekly time sheets to the COR Office
  • Coordinate Invoicing with the COR Office and work through any discrepancies
  • Facilitate and ensure Contractor employees complete all required training.
  • Facilitate and ensure requested training can be delivered at the government's request
  • Report daily all late arrivals, absences and/or early departures to COR, General foreman, first-line supervisor and CS within the first 2 hours of each shift and promptly of any other unexpected leave
  • Provide the COR Office with the following reports:
  • Weekly Time and Accounting
  • End of Month Time and Accounting
  • Monthly Leave Calendar
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum of five (5) years in a supervisory position.
  • Shall have ten (10) years of experience and knowledge of aircraft overhaul trades and labor work.
  • Shall possess a working knowledge of OSHA requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, attention to detail, and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient personal computer skills including a strong working knowledge of standard Microsoft Office Suite.
