Role Overview

VINCI Facilities Defence is seeking an experienced and proactive **Site Works Manager** to join the team at RAF Odiham. This position supports the delivery of both **planned and reactive maintenance**, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operation of building and engineering services within a critical defence environment. The role offers a **temporary to permanent opportunity** for the right candidate.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Act as the **primary point of contact** for site-based maintenance and small works delivery.
* Manage relationships with the **local client and end users**, ensuring service excellence and satisfaction.
* Oversee **Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)** and **reactive maintenance** activities.
* Coordinate and manage **principal and specialist supply chain partners** to ensure timely, safe, and compliant delivery.
* Ensure compliance with all **health, safety, and environmental standards**, following VINCI&8217;s **Safe System of Work** procedures.
* Supervise and deliver **periodic statutory and mandatory inspections**.
* Oversee and monitor **small works and additional maintenance projects**.
* Support the **asset management team** by conducting **asset condition monitoring and surveys**.
* Coordinate and maintain accurate **technical and contractual management information** at a site level.

**Key Skills & Qualifications**

* Proven experience managing site operations within facilities management, maintenance, or construction environments.
* **SMSTS** (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
* **First Aid at Work** qualification.
* Recognised training as a **Legionella Responsible Person**.
* Recognised training as an **Asbestos Responsible Person**.
* **Temporary Works Coordinator** certification desirable.
* Strong understanding of **compliance, statutory inspections, and safe systems of work**.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage client and stakeholder relationships.
* Competent in documentation, planning, and reporting using digital management systems.
* Must hold or be able to obtain **BPSS and DBS clearance** prior to commencement.

* **Contract Type:** Temporary (6 months) - potential to become permanent.
* **Working Hours:** 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:30).
* **Pay Rate:** 21.63/hour PAYE or 28.04/hour Umbrella.
* **Location:** RAF Odiham, Hook, Hampshire (with travel to local sites as required).
