JOB SUMMARY:

​​​Responsible for SkyCourier commercial aircraft sales in Asia Pacific.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Identifies, qualifies and closes the sale of new Cessna SkyCourier aircraft for Textron Aviation
  2. Builds relationships with regional airlines, cargo, and other turboprop operators
  3. Consistently executes prospecting strategies that allows to identify and qualify prospective client, maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities, and sustain regional market share growth
  4. Develops strategic partnerships with local financial and leasing companies to provide localized solutions for SkyCourier operators
  5. Maintains thorough records on each client and prospective client, to include key decision makers, fleet history and utilization, business history, business activity and events that have, or will, influence new aircraft purchase decisions.  A detailed history of contacts and records should include copies of general correspondence and other information supplied to the prospect maintained in SalesForce.com
  6. Maintains current knowledge and understanding of all elements critical to the sales process, including comprehensive familiarity with and technical aspects of the aircraft.  Analyze a prospect’s financial qualifications and communicates the details of finance programs and/or various ownership cost analyses generated by Marketing
  7. Partners with development and engineering teams to incorporate Voice of the Customer feedback into product upgrades and modifications
  8. Maintains market intelligence information -- identify shifting sales trends, political or financial changes and implement winning strategies
  9. Partners with the Textron Aviation’s Customer Service and Support organization as well as with Channel Partners to maximize sales opportunities and customer experience within assigned region
  10. Maintains and communicate to prospective clients a clear understanding of aircraft purchase agreement details
  11. Coordinates and participates in demonstration flight requests with prospective clients.  Provide complete information concerning all details relevant to a successful flight, including discussion of customer expectations with VP, Sales prior to the flight.  Brief prospect on demonstration guidelines (as appropriate) and Company policy concerning demonstration charges
  12. Textron Aviation products, services, terms and agreements, and conditions of sales shall be fairly and accurately presented to customers and prospects.  Purchase Agreements shall be within Company policy, ethical and legal and within acceptable Marketing Program format and financial guidelines
  13. Required to perform all duties within company policy and established budget
  14. Participates in local business and civic affairs to promote Textron Aviation, business, and general aviation within assigned zone
  15. Prepares and submits VP Sales required weekly/monthly reports pertaining to sales activities, sales forecasts, and budgets in the standard required formats.  Prepare and submit special reports as requested
  16. Develops direct sales and annual marketing and sales action plan and submit to VP Sales for assigned area within zone that is designed to achieve assigned sales objectives and incorporating the overall marketing and sales programs and strategies
  17. Complies with all laws and regulations set forth in the United States Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and for channel partners
Job Requirements:

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in Business Management, Aviation Management, Sales & Marketing, or related field
  • 3 years’ relative aircrafts, asset financing, or capital equipment sales experience required

 

QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Understanding of airline, freight/cargo industry preferred
  • Knowledge of Textron Aviation products and competitor’s product lines preferred
  • Understanding of capital equipment finance and lease terms
  • Understanding of cost of ownership and net present value cash analysis
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to read, write and speak English fluently
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Motivated and self-directed to deliver high quality results
  • Mobile and willingness to travel required
  • Must have valid driver’s license
