We are currently looking for a Spares Transport Manager (d/f/m) with a focus on Data Analytics (d/f/m) to join our team “Logistics & Repair” in Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel.

For our global Transportation Team we are looking for a passionate and motivated new team member who strives for excellence in operation. As our new Transport Manager you contribute to the definition and roll out of the new global transport operating model.

This role reports to the Head of Transport Operations  and requires continuous cross-functional collaboration with our Operations functions spread across the world, Sales, Procurement, and suppliers.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM
  • You manage the design and deployment of our Transport Business Intelligence set up incl. development of data based End to End Transport Dashboards to manage our 3 PL Network and support our commercial teams with relevant information for customer experience.

  • You manage our global 3 PL service providers on a tactical and strategic level to ensure performance (On time delivery, Cost, Quality, Sustainability), drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the procurement of Transportation services

  • You contribute Transport related projects and support the deployment of the Satair new Transportation Operating Model (4PL & 3PL network) contributing to the global logistics transformation program

  • You act as Transport Business Partner for our commercial teams to design and continuously improve transport concepts to meet customer expectation

ABOUT YOU
  • A relevant degree in Logistics- and Supply Chain Management, or a qualified ambivalent with several years of work experience

  • Proven track record within the transportation environment

  • Experience with a Transport Management System (TMS) would be a plus

  • Project Management Expertise and used to work with external service providers

  • English at negotiating level (oral and written)

  • You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • You are very good in building business relationships with internal and external partners

  • You have an analytical and structured way of working with high problem solving skills 

  • You are a teamplayer in an international environment with a digital mindset
