As a Senior Capture Manager, youll meet with customers, facilitate new business opportunities, and develop and execute capture strategies. Youll oversee market assessment, monitor market activity, identify customer needs, and aid with new product development planning activities. Your duties will also include assessing program opportunities against target market; core proficiency; revenue potential; company ability; price to win strategies; business case analysis; business intelligence and merger and acquisitions due diligence; and projected business forecasts. Additional responsibilities include capture planning and management for strategic campaigns and priority pursuits, leads opportunity gate reviews, black hat sessions, win theme and discriminator workshops, communicates pursuit status, oversees the proposal phase of the opportunity to ensure successful delivery to the client; and contributes feedback and innovative ideas to the team in support of continuous improvement.

The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Its end-to-end Command, Control, Computers, Communications and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities encompass design, integration, test, certification, ground/flight training and complete logistics support. Must-haves:

  • Typically 6-8 years of relevant experience
    • Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
  • Bachelors Degree in a related field of study
    • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
  • Advanced knowledge of US Department of Defense Military programs or Civil Space services, and acquisition procedure
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and operations concepts and interpret, translate, and explain detailed technical ideas to technical and non-technical audience
  • Progressive experience with technical marketing, proposal development, and program management or engineering design
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to motivate/work with others
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

Preferred:

  • Experience in Business Development
  • Exposure to proposal coordination activities to ensure proposals are staffed and supported to achieve success
  • Ability to work successfully in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment, emphasizing rapid fielding of capabilities, with minimal supervision
  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense, or US Military

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $159,430.15 - $219,216.46. SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.

SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
