The Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, Integrated Fighter Group (F-16) Team is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Contracts professional to join our dynamic team and support a diverse portfolio of contracts and capture efforts. This person will:

• Review and summarize customer Requests for Proposal (RFPs) for new business efforts and/or modifications to existing contracts.
• Perform risk analysis on competitive commercial and Governmental pursuits.
• Provide contractual recommendations and research alternative approaches to contract execution through contract language revisions.
• Coordinate proposal generation and submission, collaborate with other functional areas to understand and document significant contract changes that frequently impact cost and schedule.
• Support a portfolio of new business captures (commercial and government) and existing commercial and FAR/DFARS-based contracts.
• Collaborate with associated functional organizations and customers to ensure conformance with contractual obligations, remain cognizant of potential or existing problem areas, and implement required corrective actions.
• Continuously evaluate contract performance.
• Create and maintain enduring relationships with internal and external customers to facilitate timely and transparent communications.
• Identify risks and contract issues and effectively address them in a timely manner.
• Exercise initiative and work in an independent manner as often as possible. Think outside the box.
• Work directly with multiple customers developing critical relationships on various contracts (CPFF, CPIF, CPAF, T&M, FPI, FFP, IDIQ, and OTA).
• Ensure final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations.
• Ensure timely contract closure by supporting closeout activities as required by terms and conditions.
• Update contract closeout schedules and coordinate with functional areas to drive closure of administrative tasks as required by company policies and federal regulations.

A level 3 employee Typically has 5 - 10 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline
- Experience with basic financial terms and concepts (ex. Long Range Plan (LRP), Return on Sale (ROS), proposal pricing, Executive Planning Panel (EPP)
- Electronic Contracting Environment (ECE) skills or usage of similar Contract Management software tools
- DCS, FMS, USG contracting experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $85,900 - $161,900. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $74,700 - $143,100 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
