Job Description SummaryThe Sr. DEI Manager (Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion) will leverage strategic insights, analytical skills, and stakeholder engagement acumen to continuously improve DE&I processes to help GE Aerospace become an industry leader. The Sr. DEI Manager will design and deliver programs and tactics that amplify our DE&I action plans, to include enhancing diversity awareness and the representation of diverse talent at all levels of the organization. The Sr. DEI Manager will identify opportunities and risks related to stakeholder priorities in relationship to our enterprise DE&I strategy and objectives The Sr. DEI Manager will partner significantly with all members of the HR community (to include HR Centers of Excellence), corporate communications, community relations, and the broader DEI leadership team in support of GE Aerospace’s DEI vision.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Interfaces with HR partners (to include talent acquisition, talent management, & broader HR centers of excellence to ensure the efficient use of resources (personnel and financial) in support of the Company’s DEI objectives
  • Act as internal D&I subject matter expert by taking a balanced consultative and systemic approach to enable the organization to capitalize on D&I for global success through strategic and tactical/operational execution. 
  • Serve as a key member of the DEI leadership team, which maintains governance responsibility of GE Aerospace’s DEI strategy. 
  • Assess and enhance enterprise-wide business processes that are integral to achieve DEI progress. I.e., diverse interview slates, talent development, talent retention, recruitment, etc.
  • Increase the utilization of external relationships via memberships/sponsorships strategy that aligns to broader business and DEI objectives.
  • Research policies and procedures to drive equitable outcomes in HR processes across the organization. Coordinates the administration of programs to drive equitable outcomes.
  • Analyzes and utilizes data, as necessary, to monitor and measure the progress of the Company’s strategic diversity initiatives. Proactively seeks to broaden employee engagement in diversity efforts within assigned stakeholder groups (specifically to include HR Business Partners). 
  • Counsels and advises leaders on potentially exclusionary or discriminatory personnel practices and assists in the resolution of employee or employment issues that have a diversity component

Qualifications/ Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 12 years of experience in Human Resources management). Academic concentration in human resources management (or equivalent) highly preferred.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a corporate setting 
  • Proven experience in diversity & inclusion focus with stakeholder consulting , change management and project management.
  • Ability to travel up to 30

  • Existing network within GE Aerospace or similar organization… understands how the business operates, and is connected to key talent and sponsors within the organization.
  • Extensive experience engaging, partnering, and building relationships with diverse communities 
  • Ability to use sound judgement to make pragmatic, effective decisions; ability to assume responsibility for decisions and act decisively under deadlines 
  • Strong written, oral, and presentation skills; quickly delivers compelling communications under pressure; demonstrated ability to present complex business ideas in a succinct and persuasive way. 
  • Excellent project management, organization skills, attention to detail, and sense of urgency. Takes the initiative to build plans and processes by applying expertise and insights. 
  • Values teamwork and collaboration; willing to perform a wide range of tasks with passion for advancing the knowledge of others. 
  • Ability to make successful presentations to individuals and/or groups at all levels of the organization. 
  • Ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision.
  • Ability to work and add value in a team-based environment.

Pay and Benefits:

  • The base pay range for this position is $152,300 - 253,800. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan.  This posting is expected to close on March 8, 2024.
