This leader will work directly with the D&S Engineering Finance Leader and Engineering leaders to enable operational performance, optimize Engineering strategies, and ensure alignment with broader organizational goals. In addition to FP&A responsibilities, a critical part of this role is directly supporting special projects across D&S engineering.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Financial Planning, Reporting, and Analysis: Lead the D&S Engineering finance teams in executing planning and reporting cycles, delivering comprehensive financial reports with variance analysis.
- Forecasting and Risk Management: Manage planning, forecasting, and pacing activities by leveraging data insights and operational expertise to identify material variances, mitigate risks, and capitalize on opportunities, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial results.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration and Communication: Foster engagement with cross functional teams to effectively communicate financial positions, analyze operating results, and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Operational Reviews and Consolidation: Own the consolidation and analysis of financial data for the Engineering (MORs) and Weekly Operating Reviews (WORs), ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
- Strategic Planning and Reporting: Lead planning, forecasting, and pacing efforts for the Engineering function, utilizing data-driven approaches to articulate material variances, risks, and opportunities.
- Utilize Flight Deck tools to drive improved process and results.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in finance or accounting from an accredited university
- 6+ years of FInance experience
