Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Senior Manager, Employee Experience to join our HR and Workplace Shared Services team.

This position is open to the following Airbus locations: Herndon, VA, Grand Prairie, TX, Mirabel, Canada, and Mobile, AL.

You will be part of a team defining & delivering business oriented solutions (including policies, processes and tools) to internal customers in alignment with Business and HR strategy by involving all stakeholders in area of responsibility (CoC).

Your challenges:

  • Implements, conducts, facilitates, and/or analyzes results of usability studies conducted through extensive content reviews and evaluations, user feedback and employee surveys.
  • Evaluate and design appropriate content, channels and communication strategies aimed at the various audiences of the HR&WP services (internal HR&WP employees, SLT and business leaders, managers and supervisors, and white collars, blue collars and temps) in line with the content, style and branding guidelines issued by Corporate Communication.
  • Meets regularly with the HR & WP Senior Leadership team to be made aware of any changes in service delivery that may require content updates and communication actions with our employees; assists with related change management strategies.
  • Monitors content, usability or communication related aspects of employee satisfaction for services provided by HR & WP
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, developments, and best practices in employee experience, user experience, effective communication practices, content management and channel management. 
  • Develops communications to inform employees of changes to policies or processes, upcoming deadlines, maintain awareness of and adherence to the HR operating model, report performance progress (metrics), and provide updates on continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Delivers communications, and/or partners with Corporate Communications on the delivery of communications, through a variety of formats and channels, including documents, presentations, meetings, and predominantly through online content in the Airbus NA employee portal.
  • Takes the lead in the research, development, drafting, publication, and distribution of the employee handbook; conducts informational meetings, training sessions, and other communication forums to explain and discuss human resource policies.
  • Serves as the resident expert on project communication for the HR&WP community.
  • Establish the communication best practices and artifacts to be leveraged in HR & WP project communication work streams

Your boarding pass:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • 8&43; years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong teamwork, collaboration and stakeholder management skills; must be able to interface, coordinate and consult with colleagues within and outside the HR function. 
  • Proficient in presenting and communicating complex technical and non-technical concepts, including system functionality, employment law, and human resource policies.
  • SHRM or PHR Certification is preferred.
  • Additional Employee Relations, Change Management, or other certifications are a plus.
