Hiring a Sr. Materials Program Manager for a Start Up Drone Company in Hayward, CA
*Fully Onsite Role*
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Plan all BOM (Bill of Materials) materials to ensure the right products are available at the right place and time throughout the product lifecycle, supporting both in‑house FATP and contract manufacturers. Oversee Tier 2 materials management at CM sites to enable the build and shipment of critical modules and sub‑assemblies.
- Manage the Clear‑to‑Build (CTB) report to drive material readiness for production plans and customer orders. Develop material strategies that balance inventory levels, supply flexibility, and cost exposure.

- Leverage CTB insights to support Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), product transitions, and material revision changes, ensuring supply continuity while minimizing material obsolescence.
- Partner with the purchasing team to secure supply commitments, resolve shortages, and implement effective supplier strategies in collaboration with the broader Supply Chain organization.
- Operate effectively in a highly cross‑functional environment, collaborating with manufacturing, program management, product development, design engineering, supply chain, production control, and logistics teams.
- Work with system developers to enhance internal tools and systems that support planning and operational efficiency.
- Demonstrate a strong passion for improving internal and external processes.
What Makes You a Strong Fit
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in OEM/JDM/ODM hardware environments, including hands‑on contract manufacturing (CM) experience.
- Strong analytical and data‑driven problem‑solving skills, with the ability to process large datasets and synthesize insights.
