Raytheon Missiles & Defense is seeking a Material Program Manager (MPM) who will perform as a member of the Supply Chain Management (SCM) organization and be responsible for supporting and working Customer Proposal and Program Start-Up / Execution efforts in the Advanced Technology (AT) Mission Area. The successful MPM is the liaison between the program office, engineering, operations, quality, contracts, finance and the supply chain organization and is responsible to ensure the successful development, coordination and execution of all program requirements and material strategies are being met and Program/Product Line business objectives are achieved.
What You Will Do
Work closely with Program Management, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Engineering, Quality, Production Control and Procurement to ensure successful supplier management and execution in supporting program needs and requirements
Develop and execute Material Strategies which support Customer requirements and meet Program objectives
Generate Supplier Request for Proposals / Quotes (RFP’s / RFQ’s)
Gate Review preparation and/or support
Support Prime Contract Proposal activities for Suppliers and SCM BOE’s
Identify Customer Prime Contract Flow-Downs and obtaining any required Terms Attachments (T-Attachments) and/or Modifications
Obtain, understand and process Supplier proposals/quotes
Assist with the generation of Supplier Statement of Work (SSOW’s)
Generate and process Supplier New Add / Re-Activation requests
Generate and manage SCM Material Sales, Estimate At Completion (EAC) and Risk & Opportunities
Purchase Order Place Plan generation and update
Purchase Requisition generation and Purchase Order placement and management
Line of Balance (LOB) execution and maintenance
Lead Make/Buy decisions and affordability efforts for program material
Assist and/or Lead negotiations on Material with Suppliers and/or the Customer
Prepare and execute Material Program Plans (MPPs)
Participate in supplier engagements and reviews to ensure a healthy, effective, efficient and successful supply base
Generate mitigations and/or resolving issues impacting/effecting all of the above
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience
Experience with Supply Chain, Production Control, and/or Procurement processes and requirements
Experience with Prime Contract Requirements and Statements of Work (SOW)
Experience with Supplier Statements of Work (SOW)
Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
Qualifications We Prefer
Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Management, Supply Chain or similar; MPM Certification
Active Top Secret security clearance
Enterprise Sourcing and Performance Excellence (ESPX) Aptitude
Estimating, proposal, Negotiation and/or capture experience
Strong Presentation Skills and able to interface with all levels of internal management, supplier management and the external customer

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
