Job Description SummaryThe Sr Staff Technical Product Manager is responsible for operating with other ERP and Pillar product management teams to create a clear strategic direction for Oracle R12 Supply Chain ERP spaces. You will translate this strategy into effective business process, configuration and development needs and convey that vision to the build and/or operations team. You will also direct the team with a clear and descriptive set of requirements and partner with the team to determine what can be delivered through balancing the need for new features, defects, and technical debt. Your priority is seamless integration and alignment of perspectives from a broad set of stakeholders: Business Users, Product Managers, Technical Anchors, Product Owners, and Developers.

Job Description

In this role, you will:

  • Owns specific ERP product from Supply Chain area across 4 mission critical Aerospace ERPs - Global, Whittle, Golf, Kittyhawk.
  • Be responsible for Product Ownership of Oracle ERP sales order, shipping, pricing, engineering and GTM functional areas for strategic 4 Aerospace ERP (Global, Golf, Whittle, Kittyhawk) instances.
  • Provide consulting and where needed level 3 business support to ERP business users.
  • Drive and support organizational efficiencies and business benefits through application of lean and business process automation.
  • Build and maintain knowledge of new and emerging technologies and determine when to apply to add value to the business.  
  • Participate in technical and business discussion relative to future Oracle e-Business Suite ERP and associated 3rd party product direction.
  • Partner with Pillar application teams, integration resources and lead ERP technical resources in the design, development, configuration, test and deployment of complex business solutions.
  • Create training plans, lead training material development, and execute training delivery for respective ERP product areas.  
  • Manage the maintenance of accurate and complete system documentation for associated ERP business solutions. 
  • Possesses a deep understanding of the technology stack and impact on final product.
  • Conducts customer and stakeholder interviews and elaborates on personas.
  • Partner with Principal SCM Product Manager to ensure that we follow SCM ERP blueprint across all strategic Aerospace ERPs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 6 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 9 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 11 years of professional experience
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in supporting or implementing Oracle R12 (12.2.x) with practical experience in  Supply Chain modules (Planning, Forecasting, Sales Order, Inventory, Global Trade Management, Pricing)
  • Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience 

Eligibility Requirement:

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.  We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.  
  • Must be flexible to travel as required to support business efforts up to 20 and subject to fluctuate based on business environment.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Knowledge and experience in Sales & shipping and Engineering, GTM business processes and Oracle ERP modules
  • Experienced in the implementation of complex multi-org ERP solutions
  • Knowledge of Oracle table structures and SQL skills are preferred  
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working ERP implementations is preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years’ technical experience along with established leadership credentials across disciplines is preferred
