About the Role
We are seeking a Structures Supervisor to lead our structural maintenance and repair operations across Bridger Aerospace’s fleet. This position requires a skilled leader who can oversee teams of structural mechanics, ensure compliance with FAA regulations, manage workflow priorities, and uphold the highest standards of safety and quality.
The Structures Supervisor will coordinate day-to-day activities in support of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, ensuring aircraft are maintained to the highest structural integrity standards. This role is based in Belgrade, MT, with potential travel across the U.S. or internationally to support operations. This role will require hands-on work when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
•Lead, train, and mentor a team of structural mechanics to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality repairs and modifications.
•Oversee structural repairs and modifications for King Air, Pilatus, Kodiak, and CL215T airframes.
•Plan and assign work in alignment with maintenance schedules, operational requirements, and regulatory standards.
•Work hands-on with aircraft performing structural repairs when able or needed.
•Review and interpret Engineering Repair Orders, Structural Repair Manuals, drawings, and technical documents, providing guidance to team members.
•Ensure parts, materials, consumables, and tooling are available to support upcoming projects and inspections.
•Monitor and enforce compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and quality control procedures.
•Provide technical oversight for advanced fabrication and repair processes, including sheet metal work, composites, and structural fastener installation.
•Collaborate with maintenance management to support fleet readiness, minimize downtime, and resolve complex structural issues.
•Maintain accurate work order documentation, logbook entries, and task status tracking within maintenance software (Winair or similar).
•Drive continuous improvement in safety practices, tool control, and shop organization.
Requirements:
•A&P license strongly preferred.
•5+ years of aircraft structures/sheet metal experience, including 2+ years in leadership or supervisory capacity.
•Strong knowledge of FAA regulations (FARs) and standard repair practices.
•Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and meet deadlines under pressure.
•Experience with multiple airframe types, including King Air, Pilatus, Kodiak, and CL215T preferred.
•Valid driver’s license and passport; ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
•Ability to pass DOT drug screening and criminal background check.
•Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments.
•Familiarity with maintenance tracking systems
