Description:Subcontract/Purchase Order placement and management in support of the Air Dominance Program.

This position will be responsible for managing a set of subcontracts, including the management of supplier cost, schedule, quality and technical performance.

This position holds procurement management
and delegation responsibility for all applicable supplier agreements and contracts within established authority.

These subcontracts are in support of US Dept of Defense prime contracts.

Duties include:

Preparation of bid and proposal requests; analyzing and evaluating supplier proposals; source selection decisions, as applicable; performing price analysis; use of cost evaluations to develop pre-negotiation strategies; leading team negotiations; and subcontract documentation and compliance.

Responsible for interfacing with program management team, as well as customer and government teams. Also post-award subcontract management functions, to include cost, schedule and technical performance, invoice
reconciliation and approval, negotiating modifications to subcontracts, interface with program and functional management teams and other functional organizations.

Leads multifunctional subcontract management teams (SMT), which includes procurement, engineering, supplier quality and business management team members.

Must be able to resolve complex problems in a very demanding and fast-paced environment. Responsible for meeting aggressive affordability goals set by customer for
continuous cost reductions.
Basic Qualifications:
- Thorough knowledge of acquisition policies and
procedures

- Experience with procurement and subcontract management of specialized materials, complex assemblies, and equipment within the Defense Industry

- Business acumen and ability to make business based
decisions

- Demonstrated communication skills (verbal, written,
and presentation)

- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and Cost Account Management (CAM)

- Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance

- Able to travel (~10)
Desired Skills:
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional Integrated Product Teams and/or Supplier Management Teams

- Proficient in Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA)

- Demonstrated Risk Management experience

- Leadership skills displaying attributes of Full Spectrum
Leadership

- Experience with LM P2P (SAP buying system) and Lockheed Martin Acquisition Policies (LMAP)

- Certified Cost Account Manager (CAM)

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
