Description:Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is seeking an entry level Subcontract Manager for a position in Grand Prairie, TX to provide subcontract support on the After Market Enterprise Program, which sustains fielded HIMARS & M270 systems.

Duties will include:
- Key participation in the proposal preparation, proposal
pre-work and post award execution working with Program Management to establish the initial expectations to be required from the Subcontractor.
- Evaluating / Negotiating / Managing complex subcontracts (including those with Spec/SOW-driven requirements) to perform to the program’s specifications, quality, budget, schedule and earned value requirements.
- Ensuring the timely delivery of Hardware, SDRL’s (Subcontract Data Requirements List) or other deliverables required to fulfill the subcontract.
- Working within a team environment, to manage subcontractor cost, schedule and technical performance.
- Tracking placement of purchase orders in support of sustainment plans.
- Working engineering changes to determine cost or schedule impacts and working with Finance to ensure any cost impacts are accounted for prior to authorization.
- Maintaining status within SAP and the program line of business to ensure accurate status.
- Developing solutions to a variety of complex
problems.

**This position will require travel.**
Basic Qualifications:
-Supply Chain, logistics, or project management
experience.

-Must be proficient Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

-Able to travel.

-Must have the ability to obtain a secret clearance.

-Excellent communications, presentation and
documentation skills.
Desired Skills:
-Working knowledge of SAP and/or LMP2P Business Systems

-Cross-functional knowledge of Supplier Quality and Engineering, as they relate to subcontract management;

-Ability to create and present using Microsoft Office tools;

-Ability to interact with senior management, suppliers and other external personnel on significant matters, often requiring coordination between functional organizations;

-Ability and willingness to travel to supplier facilities to participate in meetings and to resolve
subcontract/program issues on-site, as needed.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
