Description:Missiles and Fire Control Advanced Programs are at the forefront of program and product development securing the future of the company and warfighter. The selected candidate will be the primary liaison between Lockheed Martin and our suppliers, responsible for the management of major supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance on multiple development efforts withing Advanced Programs.
This position requires the ability and initiative to interface with internal partners to solve problems and ensure procured materials and services are acquired in compliance with established procedures and support the program needs with minimal supervision. This position also requires the ability to interface effectively with Sr. Management and suppliers to achieve desired program objectives. Successful candidate shall have effective communication and organization skills. Specific tasks include:
Leading cross-functional Subcontract Management Teams
Manage the procurement cycle from request for proposal to purchase order closeout
Preparing and issuing Requests for Proposal, evaluating proposals, source selection with evaluation criteria, and issuing subcontracts
Negotiate pricing, contractual terms, and lead times
Manage supplier relationships and cost, schedule, and performance issues
Monitor and perform Earned Value analysis of supplier costs
Maintain accuracy of purchasing documents and data including procurement files in accordance with policies and procedures.
Supports and leads cost reduction initiatives, change activity, and program meetings
Comply with all applicable FARS / DFARS and company policies
Basic Qualifications:
Ability to obtain US Secret Security Clearance
Prior experience with procurement, supply chain and/or subcontracts on US Government programs
Ability and willingness to travel to supplier facilities to participate in negotiations/meetings and to resolve subcontract/program issues on-site, as needed.
Ability to interface effectively with Sr. Management and suppliers to achieve desired program objectives.
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures such as FAR/DFAR/LMAP/ and MFC Work Instructions
Demonstrated problem solving skills, business acumen and ability to make business-based decisions
Experience managing complex subcontracts
Contract/TINA negotiations experience
Experience with Cost Plus, Fixed Price and T&M subcontract types
Ability to operate in and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
P2P, SCNav, SAP Experience
Control Account Management (CAM) Experience
Cross-functional knowledge of Supplier Quality and Engineering, as they relate to subcontract management.
Excellent communications, negotiations, presentation, and documentation skills.
Ability to create and present using Microsoft Office tools.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
