Supplier Development Manager - PJO Support

Job Description:

- Is accountable for securing Crisis management methodology deployment at Airbus suppliers and Midterm projects to secure sustainability of Delivery and to ensure supplier&39;s performance targets are achieved.

Develop trust and credibility with supplier leadership teams to diagnose organizational/process weaknesses and develop immediate solutions.

Provide VoC to challenge existing supplier cultures/competencies.

- Define SQIP (Supplier Quality Improvement Program) Business Improvement plans to achieve long term performance targets.

Project manage and review specific work streams where gaps are identified.

Deliver improved performance through effective change leadership at all levels of a supplier organization.

- Define with non-SQIP suppliers through all tiers of the supply Chain specific development activities and Problem resolution activities where identified issue or risk have been flagged via supplier mapping or other sources. (E.g. Supply multiple higher tiers, Are significant Tier 2 with no direct supply to Airbus, Have supply chain monuments, Are single source, Etc.).

- Identification and application of appropriate methodologies to deliver Airbus Supplier Requirements (ASR, GRESS, GRAMS) and End-to-End supply chain development needs.(AOS, ToW, APQP, etc…).

Seeks opportunities to apply lessons learned in order to continually develop Airbus supplier management processes and competencies though identification and engagement of best practice and innovative solutions.

- Is expected to secure key Assessments (IPCA&43; , CCP, SEP, …) where procurement commodities consider a higher level of expertise is required to ensure the appropriate outcome.

- Supplier Transformation projects.

– Define and project manage multiple transformation work streams to achieve Airbus expectations.
Provide the vision and communicate a roadmap for the Airbus supply chain through facilitation, coaching and OJT for internal Procurement operations resource. Provide VoC to challenge existing supplier cultures/competencies.

- Support Procurement commodities in defining their Supply chain strategies through inputs into the Supplier Control Review or directly within the commodity.

- Act as a champion for unique projects requiring high level of broad expertise and knowledge from diverse industrial backgrounds ensuring best in class approach to resolve problem statements.

-  Identify the supplier weaknesses, capabilities, capacities, axis of improvements and development to improve supply chain maturity and robustness.

- Develop quality mindset and continuous improvement & Contribute to anticipate recurring supplier quality issues and initiate preventive KPIs.

- Drive the implementation of supply chain continuous improvement methodologies  (LEAN, 6 sigma, Problem solving, knowledge sharing,...), and tools (indicators, process controls, test means,...) at supplier&39;s site, bring expertise to resolve issues & develop best practices.
