Boeing Singapore is looking for a Supplier Quality Manager to join our team based in Singapore.

This manager-level role will lead the entire Supplier Quality Team in Southeast Asia reporting to Asia Pacific Regional Senior Manager of Supplier Quality.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage employees performing supplier quality activities to ensure that suppliers production and quality systems, special processes, products and services meet purchase contract requirements and applicable government regulations.
  • Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures.
  • Develops organizational and technical strategies to improve supplier performance.
  • Acquires and manages resources to implement process improvements.
  • Leads preventive activities as well as corrective action activities with suppliers to address the root cause of quality escapes.
  • Be responsible for promoting the implementation of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Playbooks at Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) suppliers in SE Asia.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports.
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees.
  • Be responsible for the oversight of suppliers in SE Asia, including Special Process suppliers.
  • This requisition is for an international, locally hired position. Successful candidates must have existing / ability to obtain legal authorization to work in country for continued employment.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Must have 5 years minimum Quality Management Systems experience.
  • Working comprehension of the requirements of AS9100.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Desire experience in leading teams in application of Quality Management Systems.
  • Desire a technical degree in engineering or related science major.
  • Experience and education in 6 sigma, Lean Management and APQP desired.

Typical Education/Experience: 

Technical bachelor’s degree and typically 15 or more years’ related work experience or a Master’s degree with typically 10 or more years’ or a PhD degree with typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
