Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Supply Chain Management Analyst (Associate or Experienced) to join the Demand Management Team based out of North Charleston, South Carolina.

The growth of the 787 program makes this role an opportunity to be involved in exciting innovation through supply chain opportunities and partnerships, cross-functional problem solving, and an on-going Lean journey. The Statement of Work includes standard Supply Chain Management functions, data analysis, forecasting, supply and/or demand troubleshooting, and additional duties as assigned.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Applies change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions

  • Applies Supply chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the supply chain

  • Coordinates with company customer support representatives, contract administration, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, traffic, warehousing, suppliers and customers

  • Incorporates Bills of Material (BOM) and schedules into a production plan

  • Coordinates part number attributes

  • Verifies the released engineering BOM has been correctly implemented in the material planning system

  • Releases and maintains orders

  • Documents and resolves order delinquencies

  • Reports schedule adherence issues

  • Applies developed solutions to inventory plans

  • Analyzes and dispositions excess and obsolete inventories

  • Initiates, coordinates and authorizes release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability

  • Ensures on-time delivery

  • Optimizes inventory levels

  • Analyzes and dispositions excess inventories

  • Creates schedules for products and services

  • Coordinates and supports process improvements

  • Develops and implements new ordering methodologies

  • Ensures organizational compliance with inventory management policies, contractual requirements and governmental regulations

  • Analyzes and works 8 Pack Metrics

This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in North Charleston, SC.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required.  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain or materials management

  • 1+ years of experience in a role that required the ability to work both independently and collaboratively

  • 1+ years of experience coordinating across multiple functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities

  • 1+ years of experience collecting and analyzing data from multiple sources, as well as interpreting data and presenting analysis and recommendations to management

  • 1+ years of experience with industry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system or an equivalent such as SAP (System Applications & Products)

Preferred Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • 1 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 3+ years of experience in the Aerospace or Manufacturing industry

  • 5+ years of experience with scheduling experience in manufacturing environment

  • 3+ years of experience with ERPLN, SAP, Cognos, Velocity

Typical Education / Experience:

Associate (Level 2)

Typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Experienced (Level 3)

Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range for associate level: $62,050 - $83,950

Summary pay range for experienced: $76,500 - $103,500
