The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) team is seeking a Supply Chain Management Analyst to join our Materials Management and Warehousing organization. This position is located in Patuxent River, MD.
In this role, you will be tracking and ordering tools, handling hazmat activity on-site, participating in government property audits, and overseeing mortality of parts. You will have the opportunity to support the Boeing program NCRC.
The ideal candidate will have good written and verbal communication skills and strong problem-solving skills.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate or Mid-Level Supply Chain Management Analyst.
Position Responsibilities:
Incorporates change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions
Applies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain
Analyzes material requirements
Verifies and incorporates Bills of Material/schedules into a production plan
Resolves part number attributes.
Initiates, coordinates and authorizes release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability
Ensures on-time delivery
Documents and resolves order delinquencies
Reports schedule adherence issues
Applies solutions and controls inventory plans
Optimizes inventory levels
Analyzes and dispositions excess inventories
Initiates audits
Develops and creates schedules for products and services
Assists in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposals
Supports process improvements by analyzing and establishing standard processes for materials management to improve SCM performance
Works under general direction
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience in supply chain management
3+ years of experience in inventory management
3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor’s degree or higher
1+ years of experience in flight line
3+ years of experience with materials management and inventory in relation to government and capital property
Understanding of SOX requirements
Experience working with multiple partners across the USAF, supply chain, and supplier management
Typical Education/Experience:
Associate (Level 2)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years related work experience, 7 years related work experience, etc.).
Mid-Level (Level 3)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years related work experience, 10 years related work experience, etc.).

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range associate level: $66,300 – $89,700
Summary pay range mid-level: $81,600 – $110,400
