1.tDescription of the Job:
Integrated into the Engineering Direction of Safran Electronics and Defense as a System Manager, you will be responsible for the development of electronic systems and equipment over the whole V cycle.
2.tPosition Responsibilities:
•tManage employees who are performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Systems Engineering.
•tDevelops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives etc.
•tAcquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
•tDevelops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.
•tProvides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes.
•tExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
•tStrong collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders.
•tEffective decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
•tDemonstrated proactive, self-motivated, adaptable, and innovative mindset.
3.tKey Responsibilities:
•tExperience in collection and validation of customer and stakeholder requirements.
•tEnsure development of system-level requirements and proper cross-functional allocation (Hardware/Firmware/Software/Mechanical).
•tProficient in Systems Engineering fundamentals and Concept of Operations.
•tReview and approve functional and system-level architecture designs.
•tProficient in System design & development, validation/verification activities.
•tProficient in functional integration, Requirement based verification including development of test procedures.
•tExperience in Control system design, validation and analysis, preferable Motor Drive control applications -Model based Design using Matlab/Simulink.
•tExperience with major program design reviews including SRR, PDR, CDR, and execution of enterprise standard gated reviews.
•tExperience presenting technical analyses and proposals to senior leadership, regulators, or customers.
•tEnsure adherence to system safety analysis practices such as FMEA and Fault Tree Analysis.
•tProvide guidance and review on compliance with industry standards (ARP4754, ARP4761, DO-254, DO-178C).
•tProficient in DGCA, CEMILAC, MIL, FAA/EASA, and type certification processes.
•tKnowledge of communication protocols such as SPI, RS422/485, CAN, ARINC 429, MIL1553.
•tKnowledge of sensors such as Resolver, RVDT, and LVDT interface principles - Position/angle/linear displacement measurement, Excitation/demodulation.
•tKnowledge of requirement management tools (UML/SysML, DOORS, Polarion).

Job Requirements:

o\tExperience : 14 - 16 years
o\tQualification : Engineering degree in Electronics & communication, Electronics & telecommunication / Electrical & electronics.
o\tFunctional :- Actuation System
