Arconic is currently in search of a Takeoff Lead to join our Kawneer business in Visalia, CA. This position reviews complex architectural, project specific shop drawings, and installation instructions; and then uses these inputs to create a materials list to ensure project parts are fabricated and shipped to complete customer orders.

In this role, you will:
- Participates in various methods of pacing takeoff processing and lead times to connect customer orders with front end and production capacity planning.
- Communicates and establishes goals with the team from pacing and ensures lead time, backlog and takeoffs per day metrics are in place and visible daily.
- Coordinates incoming takeoff backlog levels with Visalia Front end and production control
- Front-end processing is instituted, measured, and aligned with goals. Monitor all defined metrics.
- Works with sales and sales management as required related specifically to order processing and management.
- Has high engagement with the Business Manager and Production Control Supervisor located in Visalia.
- Serves as both the overall business and the customer connection with Production and Production Control to communicate, assist and coordinate any gaps that impact service to customers and to the business.
- Is responsible for defined claims reduction goals for all takeoff techs.
- Coordinates workload leveling and prioritizes takeoff based on plant order loading optimization.
- Is responsible for basic day to day leading and coaching takeoff techs, involving Business Manager or Plant Manager for assistance as needed.
- Manage credits, claims and customer feedbacks. Work closely with customers and the credit department to get these issues resolved quickly to root cause and corrective actions to prevent recurrence

You have: (required)
- HS diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
Preferred Qualifications
- Associates degree from an accredited institution
- 2+ years of industry experience
- AutoCAD experience
- Ability to read shop drawings and understand installation instructions.
Wage:
The base salary range for this role is $65,000-$80,000. The base salary range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location
