Job Description:

Satair is looking for a Warehouse Operations Team Lead to join our team based in Miami, FL.

**The current need for this role will be on third shift 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM.

You will be part of the team responsible for assisting in the day-to-day oversight of activities of the warehouse, staff, operational performance and business reporting of KPI and daily SQCDP.

In support of Warehouse Operations, our team members support everything from receiving to packing and shipping of materials. The warehouse is at the core of our operations, assuring that Team Airbus members and our customers get the materials they need to be successful.

Your working environment:

Our Miami site is located close to downtown Miami and only 10 miles from Miami International Airport (MIA). This location supports all of our Americas customers, but is crucial to our Latin American operations due to its close proximity to Latin America and the Caribbean. This site manufactures about 38,000 certified Eaton hose assemblies a year. Additionally, our Miami site is the home of the regional FAA-145 repair station, which was established in March of 2017.

Your challenges:

• Ensure efficient operations and monitoring of processing of customers orders and production orders, including the storage and movement of stock and the accurate picking, packaging, quality and shipping of goods that meet customer requirements.

• Coordinate urgent AOG dispatches within the warehouse and when required in alignment with company&39;s AOG guidelines. 

• Responsible for a range of general duties including following up on assignments; maintenance and cleanliness of the warehouse; informing manager of any budget divergences and plan changes and miscellaneous tasks/projects delegated by the warehouse manager.

• Assist in managing the department&39;s staffing needs including scheduling and making determinations about resource requirements.

Your boarding pass:

• Five to seven years of experience as a warehouse operator, experience in similar leadership role preferred.

• Working knowledge of the Flight Hour Services processes.

• Familiarization with aerospace quality control and quality assurance systems.

• Demonstrated experience operating under a AS9100/9120 environment required.

• Demonstrated ability to read, understand and develop analytical and mathematical data and analysis, as well as ability to understand technical manuals and illustrated parts catalogs (IPC).
